Prepare a version someone else can read
Review your date, addresses, inventory and access notes as though you were seeing the move for the first time. Label estimates and unanswered questions. Remove information the recipient does not need, including security codes or unrelated personal paperwork in photographs. A useful survey is clear about what is known and what needs checking.
Keep editing and sharing separate
Your private editing link lets you return to the draft. Keep it to yourself. Create a sharing link deliberately when you are ready to send a saved version. Review any original photos you choose to include. Sending a shared survey does not give the recipient permission to edit your draft.
Explain the email step
A person opening a shared Move Pack enters an email address before viewing it. Move and Store records that address alongside the shared pack reference. This step does not verify their identity: anyone with the sharing link can enter an address. Only send the link to people you intend to receive the information and avoid publishing it openly.
Tell the company what you need next
Include a simple request when sending the link: a quote, a check of access or a question about packing. Explain whether your date is confirmed. A shared Move Pack is a survey; it is not an instant price, acceptance of terms or a confirmed booking. Ask the company to respond through the contact method you have agreed.
Handle changes and withdrawals deliberately
If the move changes, update your draft and decide whether a new shared version is needed. Tell the recipient what has changed. Revoke sharing when you no longer want the link used. Revocation prevents later access through that link, but cannot retrieve screenshots or copies someone has already saved. Keep the final agreed details with the company’s written confirmation.
Build your Move Pack to keep your survey together, save your progress and share a reviewed version with a removal company you choose.
