Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. The free plan has no time limit and no credit card requirement. You get quoting, CRM, storage management, and online payments — with a 5% application fee on payments processed. There is no expiry date.
What is an application fee?
When a customer pays you through the Move and Store platform, we take a small percentage on top of Stripe's standard processing fees. The rate is 5% on Free, 2% on Pro, and 0.5% on Scale. This is how we keep the Free plan genuinely free.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings. If you upgrade, you get immediate access to the new plan's features. If you downgrade, you keep the current plan until the end of your billing period.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes — to accept online payments from your customers, you connect a Stripe account during setup. This takes about five minutes. If you only use Move and Store for quoting and CRM (not payments), you can skip this step.
Can I import my existing jobs and customer data?
We support CSV imports for customers and jobs. If you are migrating from another platform and need help formatting your data, contact us at misha@moveandstore.app and we will assist.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Data is stored in Supabase (EU-hosted infrastructure), encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not share or sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your customer records, quotes, and job data belong entirely to your business. If you cancel, you can export all your data within 90 days. After 90 days, it is permanently deleted from our servers.
Does Move and Store work on mobile?
Yes. The platform is fully responsive and works on any modern browser — phone, tablet, or desktop. There is no app to download.
Can I try the paid plan before committing?
The Free plan gives you access to all core features. When you are ready to upgrade, start with Pro or Scale — both are billed monthly with no lock-in, so you can cancel after your first month if it is not right for you.
What is included in the Scale plan's free website build?
Scale plan subscribers on annual billing (£790/year) receive a professionally built marketing website at no extra cost during our limited-time promotion. The website is a custom Next.js build deployed on Vercel — it is not a WordPress template, and no two sites are copies of each other. It includes a home page, about page, services page, contact page, and a Get a Quote form linked to your Move and Store dashboard. The build is delivered within 5–7 working days. After the build, you choose a hosting plan: £49/month (hosting plus monthly text and image edits) or £20/month (hosting only, plus a £250 one-off fee each time you request changes). Hosting is billed separately from your Scale subscription.
What does the guided onboarding session involve?
Scale plan subscribers receive a one-to-one video call (30–45 minutes) with a member of our team. We help you configure your quote templates, set up your storage units, connect Stripe, and answer any questions so you are fully up and running from day one.
How do I get support?
Existing customers can use the support widget inside the Move and Store dashboard. For pre-sales questions, use the contact form on our Contact page or email misha@moveandstore.app.
What is the 'Get the Phones Ringing' add-on?
It is a managed Google Ads service for removals and storage companies. We set up and run your campaigns for a flat £50/month management fee with no setup charge — agencies typically charge £199 setup plus £100/month or 20% of ad spend. One local area is included; additional areas are £25/month each. A 3-month minimum commitment (£150 upfront) applies, after which you can cancel any time. Can I add services if I am on the free plan?
Yes. Both the website build (£499) and the Google Ads management (£50/month) are available to customers on any plan, including the free plan. These are optional add-ons — they are not required to use Move and Store.
